Welcome to the rules page for Payton's Photo Club! Participating in our photo competitions is a great way to showcase your photography skills and connect with fellow enthusiasts. To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have established clear guidelines for submissions. Please read through these rules carefully before entering any competition.
Our competitions are open to all members of the club. Each month, we host multiple themed photo challenges that encourage creativity and exploration. Themes may include nature, urban landscapes, portraits, abstract compositions, and more. Participants are required to submit original photographs that align with the specified theme. Plagiarism or the use of stock images is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
For technical requirements, we accept image files in JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats. The maximum file size allowed is 10MB to ensure smooth uploading and viewing. Images should have a minimum resolution of 1000x1000 pixels for high-quality display. We recommend submitting photos in landscape or portrait orientation, depending on the subject matter. All submissions must be in color, unless the theme specifically calls for black and white.
Submission deadlines are clearly announced at the beginning of each competition period, typically lasting 2-3 weeks. Late entries will not be accepted. Winners are selected by a panel of judges, including club members and photography experts. Prizes may include recognition on our website, featured gallery spots, or small awards. We encourage constructive feedback and community voting to foster a supportive environment.
By participating, you agree to allow your photos to be displayed on our website and social media channels for promotional purposes. If you have any questions about the rules or need assistance with submissions, please contact us through the club forum. Let's capture some amazing moments together!
